Coni Gaffaney – Owner/Instructor

Coni has been practicing Yoga for over 25 years.  The more she practiced the more she wanted to know, which led her to attain her Certification in Hatha Yoga.

Coni emphasizes proper breathing and the use of Yoga as a way to become in tune with the body.  Not only does Yoga help in alleviating stress and calming the mind, it provides the physical benefits of flexibility, strength and better posture, which are just a few of the things she loves to share.

Her love of Yoga Philosophy led her to become Certified in Meditation.  Coni is also a Third Degree Reiki Master certified by the Usui Shiki Ryoho School of Reiki.  She is always  engaged in continuing education, including Mat Pilates and Thai Massage.

Coni has always been interested in diet as a path to good health.   Moving from SAD (the Standard American Diet), to being a Vegetarian, to a Vegan and for the past 10 years a Raw Food Vegan.

Besides receiving Certifications in Herbology and Essential Oils, Coni has attended workshops with Chicago based Raw Food Chefs:  Karyn Calabrese of Karyn’s Raw Cafe;  Kathy and Danny Living of Borrowed Earth Cafe; On-line studies with Nomi Shannon, the Raw Gourmet;  Jennifer Cornbleet; Cherie Soria;  and David Wolfe.

Coni has her Certification in the Vegan Mastery Program through the Vegetarian Health Institute.
